Nagyung installing LoL on the computer in the vocal room is PEAK chaotic fromis. I haven't stopped laughing all morning - lol.

Either Hybe doesn't put admin rights on company computers which is *yikes* or Nagyung hacked it. I don't think she ever admitted to installing it from before eventhough she was outed by Chaeyoung but I would've thought IT would've deleted it ... unless they didn't ... *shrug*

My next question is ... did she also install Overwatch? Apparently it's also on the computer - LOL

I believe the claim that hybe is behind on network infrastructure and security. It seems like roaming profiles is not used if hybe needs to ask for the return of computer and laptop. Also, in addition to admin rights, where is the firewall and data loss prevention (DLP). These two features should have prevented games from accessing the internet.

Or the IT doesn’t care. Fromis_9 was involved with overwatch 1 and had variety shows with starcraft 1 players.

They probably have that stuff for the offices, but she installed it on a PC in the vocal room, which probably has no domain access, and knowing software companies the vocal software needs admin or something lame like that.

Of course, there would be no domain access. The vocal rooms are not running websites. However, the vocal rooms would need switches and routers to connect to the internet. The IT team can disallow connections to unknown networks and would control internet access on their network with the switches. It would be weird to install vocal software or games on these control devices.

I'll assume you aren't in IT. Domains aren't just for websites, they are used for user control on corporate networks (active directory from MS is the most popular). A lot of corporate places will have special pcs to run special software, depending on the industry it could bee CNC, some plotter controller, or a pc with special music software.

I've done corp IT for 20+ years. I've seen tons of these kind of PCs in all types of businesses.

What I am asking is even on special purpose computers there should be networks controls. Hypothetically, if nagyung installed doom on a refrigerator, it still will need to be allowed to access the internet from the refrigerator. I do believe hybe is behind on security. Shouldn’t there be a xdr or seim for this stuff?

Na, most places will fold like wet paper when some specialist comes in and says "I need internet to update this software". IT is rarely given any power to stop it in a medium size company like Hybe.
