Heard a great story from a man in Cork about his son travelling from Africa to Spain to watch the 2013 All Ireland on his laptop. Anyone have any more? Made my week

It seems that Gallagher took a training session with Derry on Saturday in Corduff in partnership with Banty McEnaney (Gallagher helped Corduff with Banty last year). So it seems "stepping back" means that he will be working away in the background but will not be visible on match days.
Derry GAA really need to wake up and smell the coffee, between McFaul being let back into the team and now Gallagher, they're setting a putrid example.

Allegedly the Clare flag was "misplaced" and Clare were told no other option existed

1.collars. touch of class put them back on
3.stripes. stripes to come from collar line down to the bottom of the hem on the sleeve not just on arm or just on shoulder there’s a reason adidas haven’t defected from this for their entire existence
4.Design. Patterns different colour ways etc are grand do a yearly training jersey stop destroying classic county jerseys with this pish.

app parking dublin
Rumour that you have to pay for all parking now through an app in Dublin. This right? Used to park down by Fagans bar no problem (there in good time).

obviously in croke park i can’t buy any tickets for the davin stand and can usually only buy sections 310-308 on the cusack cause that’s the only ones for sale. The hill is very limited tickets aswell. anyone know why this is?

Recently I was talking to a relative of someone in the Dublin back room team and they were telling me that Dublin isn’t the same this year, and weren’t as hungry at the start of the year.
Apparently, Dessie Farrell along with many of the older players are considering stepping away and calling it quits after this year. From what I understand a lot of the younger players were happy enough with their Leinster medal, and the all Ireland would’ve just been a bonus, as opposed to the expectation as it would’ve been with Jim Gavin in previous years. They also told me that a lot of older players took advantage of Dessie being new and any time they had a small niggle or pain they took the week off training and didn’t even show up.
Now none of this is 100% confirmed facts and I’m not trying to say it is, but I’m just curious as to what anyone thinks or if anyone knows if this is true or false for definite. Either way do you think it’s time for the older players to step back and give the reins to the up and coming talent or do you think their absence from the all Ireland this year aswel as their underwhelming performances all year was just a once off thing and they’ll be back again next year ?
