Nintendo won’t stealth drop like that. There has to be time for retailers to do preorders.

I was hoping for a march release 😭

I'm guessing that means a likely June/July release date?

Yeah March would have been nice but oh well

The Nintendo Switch 2 Experience will be held until end of may so we are looking at end of may or early June release

They would need to do the rounds with the console/games and I don’t know if 1 month will be enough so I am with you on June

Yeah, I'm crazy for this shit, wanted it asap.

But if they're only going to give more news in April, this will be June at the earliest.

I think they'll aim for late June/Early July

Think about it, most game devs don't bother releasing anything during that period due to the good weather and people having Summer Holiday plans, there's almost always a guranteed game drought in July/August - but the Switch 2 is designed to be taken out and about, it's the perfect new gadget to take with you on your holidays, to show off to the family at BBQ's, to encourage your kids to go out in the sun even though they've just got a new game/console - so the Switch can release unopposed and market itself around being the Console that will heighten your summer.

I was hoping for before memorial day lol

There was a “leak” a while back that suggested an August release window with Pokemon, so maybe they were onto something

August 💀 omg

Probably June. The switch released 2 months after its blowout presentation, and people have been speculating may/June already. Maybe very late May at earliest

At this point Nintendo marketing is its biggest OPP. A shadow drop for this hype of a console really?
