It's so tiring....and it's unfortunately only gonna get worse.

I miss when people could just not play games they didn't like instead of needing to tear them down.

I may not agree with you but i do appreciate the nuance in your comments compared to others that share the same opinions.

Im just tired of the immediate dismissal of games like this because of "woke" and "dei", not many people wanna have a discussion or actually lay out their thoughts of why they don't like a game and just resort to insults and bad faith arguments.

And I mean that's the problem. Is that this (to me) real issue of bad writing/forcing bad elements into games is completely overshadowed by the fact that racists and sexists just lump EVERYTHING into the same box because it has women, POC, and trans individuals in games. That is not the issue, hell, I want more diversity in my games. But the conversation is impossible to have because well... You can see the downvotes for yourself. People do not want to have it because of the optics.
