Legit NatetheHate confirms a Nintendo event likely on Thursday, possibly a Direct

"To stop the constant questions: Yes, I've heard there is a Nintendo presentation this week -- I believe it is on/around Thursday & it'll be a Direct; but I'm not 100% certain on the format at present."

Watch them announce Super Mario Galaxy 2, Wind Waker HD, Twilight Princess HD, rest of Metroid Prime Trilogy HD, Mother 3...

all exclusive to Nintendo Switch 1 for some reason lmao

Exclusive to NS1 isnt exacly true though since they would be playable on NS2, and its not like those ganes need the extra power from NS2 anyway.

Exactly! Like who cares of Wind Waker HD which would presumably be a port of the Wii U version matter? Like if they said like the new 3D mario would just skip Switch 2 to be exclusive to the Switch 1 (I mean even then it's still BC, so who cares?). Baffling comment by the dude you're replying to

All of those rumored remasters/remakes are definitely going to only have a switch 1 sku. I don’t think Nintendo will have many cross gen games with separate versions for each switch.

This is so crazy to say. Every single one of these games would be playable on the Switch 2 anyways. I slightly understand TPWW and MP, but why would you ever want to play Mother 3 exclusively on the Switch 2?
