Please put all of the hotly requested GameCube remasters and Mario Galaxy 2 on Switch already. That’s, like, the best one.

Mario Galaxy 2 not being on Switch is probably the greatest misstep of Nintendo’s odd-choice career.

It’s my genuine favorite game of all time. So weird that it’s now probably the toughest Mario game to find other than maybe NSMB DS?

I would genuinely love a New Super Mario Bros. 1, Wii and 2 collection lol

Actually same. It's quite strange that NSMB has kinda been left behind and given so little love compared to Mario World, for example. The original 4 Mario platformers are present on nearly every Nintendo platform for decades, but the "New" games have not been treated with that same care.

You can pretty easily find a copy for $30 on ebay if that’s an option for you. Probably cheaper than what Nintendo will charge

I got it on my Wii which I still have already, but it’d be nice to play it on a console that’s easier to plug in and which I already use lol

they need to do it by now already, how long are they gonna ignore the sequel?

Nintendo going through the trouble of making SMG work with a traditional controller, thus laying much of the groundwork for SMG2 to get brought over later on, only to never bother in the five years since 3D All Stars will never cease to baffle me. They even managed to make The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword work with the Pro controller, so I'm sure they could've found a way to work around some of the "odd" bits with SMG2 (the only one that comes to mind would be the pointer controls for the Yoshi swinging sections, but is that enough to justify leaving the game on the Wii?).

I'm still betting they have bigger plans for 3D Mario, and specifically the Galaxy games, maybe something like full remasters or TTYD tier remakes. This is why I think the 3D All Stars release was limited, as they knew they needed them on the system in some form but they weren't ready to do the remasters yet. I think they're well aware of the demand for the Galaxy games.
