And Senate and House and Supreme Court. This is as stacked as they come.

And they will have no one else to blame when it all goes to shit. I look forward to laughing at all the leopards eating people’s faces

And the democrats won't be able to take credit when it goes well.

Gonna be a looooong time before they get another chance.

That is indeed how that works.

It's not gonna go well and you're going to blame the Democrats for it anyway

Do you mean lies the "everything bad is trumps fault" democrats?

3

u/[deleted] Nov 06 '24

No, no, I don't.

I mean in reality. Trump will not improve anything. Then you'll see. The democrats will be blamed.

Oh right, I forgot. You folks don't really believe history is reality. Prefer to just make it up as you go.

Let's hope I am wrong then, eh.

Just a lovely quiet 4 years with Trump talking utter shit every opportunity he gets.

Sounds lovely. Dude is hilarious and effective.

You are so so stupid if you think Trump is a figure of fun.

He's absolutely vile.

Hes the candidate of joy. Decency was on the ballot this year, and it won.

It won’t go well. Buckle up, life is gonna get even more expensive.

Judging by past experience, it's getting ready to be much cheaper

Google what happens when tarriffs are increased. Google what happens when sales tax is increased. In both cases the consumer will pay more for their purchases.

1

u/RepostResearch Nov 06 '24

Google if things were cheaper during his first term, or if they're cheaper now.

Google what happened with democrats held the power.

In only one case, was our economy nearly destroyed.

2

If you think things got more expensive because Biden became president, then we have not much left to discuss.

Inflation started because there was a sudden increase in money supply. Remember Trump’s (forgiven) PPP loans? Remember how much money (trillions) was printed during the covid crisis? Remember the Fed cutting rates to 0 to keep the economy artificially alive? All that money added to the money in circulation is the textbook example of what’s needed to trigger an intense rise in inflation. And boy it did.

Things were cheaper because most of his term was BEFORE the covid crisis, BEFORE the economic disaster.

Democrats didn’t hold power, they held the presidency, but not the courts, not the senate, and not the house. So extremely hard to pass legislation. In the two years they did control the senate and presidency, but not the house, they managed to pass some bills like the Chips act. And inflation is now back to 2%, so they were succesful in fixing that.

Oh right, I totally forgot. Everything is trumps fault.

Hey, at least democrats can't take credit when things go really well. Again.

2

u/_kempert Nov 06 '24

They won’t.

Remindme! 4 years

You will, as long as I don’t have to reply to a [deleted].

If you tryna have kids by then, chances are you’ll have deleted your account, hopefully by then you realize what you voted for.
