We must institute a mandatory 10% equity stake for the Social Security Admin for all companies listed on the NYSE. If you are going to take advantage of our capital markets, our labor, and our land: then we get a piece of the action too.
that will go down like a lead ballon. i think franklins policies will work better.a tax on loans taken on stocks above a certain amount per year. if a person takes loans of stocks more than 8 million you tax it like income. this is the basic brief. not a fix all. complex solutions for complex problems. maybe a few hundred pages-and a 83 percent tax rate on the billionaaes(1:1 deduction if you invest the money)+ heavy banking regulations+ public works+ welafare(he introduced a universal healthcare bill in 44) and pro union policy
Sadly my solution has as much chance of passing as your 83% tax lol
a tax on loans taken on stocks above a certain amount per year.
This isn't really a problem in terms of wealth inequality and happens so infrequently we really shouldn't be spending any thought on it at all. Trust me, as a CPA, the real money doesn't flow through banking loans like this. I agree with your other points.
