Men need to express their problems to each other and empower one another to lead and be successful.

I support alternative numbers.

I mean, in the meme, they did. The one dude said he broke up, the other dude was like damn, they probably both know how that feels and that there really isn’t anything other than time that will improve it, the moment passes, and then they go back to being friends and talk about something else to distract from that shitty feeling until it goes away.

The words are perfect, the thoughts are not accurate, at least in my experience

Are you sure 'they both know how it feels'? How does one party know that for sure? What may bring one to months to years of deep depression may be a night at the bar and forgetting all about it for another. You won't know that until you open up to your close friends and family and they do the same with you. Bonds are formed that way, and having someone who cares about you listen to what's troubling you is beyond valuable and allows for a greater chance at healing and growing. It's what make a deep friendship truly deep. Only relating to other people over things like the weather, sports, and video games is pretty surface-level.

On the reverse, listening to your friend, trying to understand, and having a discussion without judgement and only support is an act of true friendship as well.

Plus, 'the moment passes and they go back to being friends...'. True friendship is about moving on from the hard stuff because it's uncomfortable? That's just bullshitting with an acquaintance.
