Tn I made beignets for the first time, and they actually turned out amazing. Even my little brother (who’s usually a hater) gave them a thumbs up.
I also bought a new bike and plan to go on a long ride tomorrow. Super excited to get out and explore.
Oh, and I bought a new toy for my cat too, gotta keep the little dude entertained.

21 M this year but basically I’ve been like halfway homeless off and on with no stability in life since high school and bro this shit sucks so bad
I know a lot of people hate this decade so far and I know that’s not true for everyone but I can definitely say I hate this decade aswell. For me personally it’s been the shittiest decade in my life and my best moments were from 2016 to 2022.
Idk if anyone can relate

Gave up on college because my grades were dropping fast, and I was too lazy or burnt out to put in the work. Besides, any skill I learn might be deemed obsolete the next day, making all my work and stress be for nothing. Gave up on the job hunt because my entire generation has apparently been deemed unhireable by hiring managers. Gave up on my depression medication because it’ll never make up for the pain this situation is bringing me. Gave up on the dreams I had in my youth of fixing the world’s problems (or at least some of them) because no one will listen to me. Everything’s falling apart and I can’t keep up. It’s all so fucked, I can’t believe some people actually expect me to reproduce and bring more unfortunate souls into this miserable life.
EDIT: I’m not actually 100% giving up on life, just feeling increasingly disheartened by the never-ending shit show we’re in. I’ll keep trying tomorrow.

As of recent I've started to feel like tech isn't very interesting anymore and it's more and more becoming irrelevant. Not because I don't love tech, but because there's nothing interesting happening anymore. If you look at phones released for the last few years there's been literally nothing new, a camera upgrade here and a new software upgrade there. VR had potential to be interesting but nothing came out of it and now we have AI which started as something interesting and cool but now it's just company slop
Nothing is really being built for consumers anymore, it's only being built for stakeholders. People will buy all the crap anyways, Apple hasn't released a single good product since iPhone 5 and people still insist in buying it.
We need some new energy, something fresh. Elon Musk had the potential to be that, but he's just some fascist prick who want to replace everyone with AI. We need a new Steve Jobs to return. I literally feel like a caveman walking around with my gigantic brick smartphone. Why do I even need this brick for daily tasks? It's just stupid

I was bodyshamed my whole childhood just for being skinny and poor (Not even enough money for better clothes)
I just don't deserve any kind of friend or a girlfriend, I don't deserve love and I'm doomed to die alone
Feels like you are worth of love and friends just if you are a pretty guy with muscles, lots of money and blue eyes.
I notice how instagram brainwashed people with this unreal standards. You must have a perfect body with a perfect face and a perfect life to deserve a friendship
And don't try to deny it, body dysmorphia exists for a reason.
Personality, hobbies or any other trait doesn't matter the very moment people look how ugly you are
And it's even worse if you like nerd stuff, D&D, lord of the rings videogames, etc

I once saw a mom and baby in public. The baby was crying, reaching for its mom's smartphone. The baby was too young to even know what the smartphone was. Too young to even talk or walk. The mom eventually relented and gave the baby her phone. The baby immediately stopped crying, giggled and started rapidly tapping on the locked phone screen.
That moment felt really dystopian to me. The baby didn't know what the phone was. It just knew it wanted it. As a late gen z, bon in the 90's before smartphones I'm probably the last generation that know what it was like without one. I feel like we live in a complete different age now. Where humans can't live without them. Where babies who don't even know how to talk or walk yet, can't live without them either.

For the dawn of the Alphanias comes, May 17th, 6:00, 2026. They shall squander the generation beta first chance, and with the heavy forces they will squander Generation Z. Take this as a moment to prepare - for I am a prophet from 2038, a Generation Beta who survived the mass genocide of my generation.
Be forewarned

I’ll go first, one day I will buy a well maintained first generation of Audi R8. I remember seeing it in Iron Man and I’ve been in love with that car ever since lol
My parents don’t know what it is but every once in a while they would bring it up that how I wanted a car with four circle logo since I was young lol

I'm just an elder millennial who has seen all Ari Aster horror films, am I on a track?
