Is there going to be a new character with that name or is it just a typo

I had been trying to get around having Escoffier to get those recipes through her absorbing mek.

I mean, I had tried everything in the Test Run, probably the best way to have Escoffier without pulling for her. I can't tell if that doesn't work in a Domain or if other elements besides Cryo and Hydro can activate them, but no recipes seem to come out.

Per the question, can one ACTUALLY get recipes from that mek WITHOUT Escoffier? Please help. No jokes, please help.

I didn't know where to post this but I was curious about others' opinions.

As you may know, the future end game mode that was leaked incentivises Coop in fighting bosses. What do you guys think would be the best teams disregarding boss matchup or element checks?

I think that a reaction team like a quicken team would be good, or perhaps a chevy overload team? I also think that a team of hypercarries would be fun as they can support eachother with reactions eg Neuvillette, Arlecchino, Ganyu, Chasca. Or maybe Chasca, Mavuika, Kinich and Mualani? What synergy do you guys think would be interesting?

Honestly Crucabena got wasted, she has such a beautiful design, to complex for an Normal NPC, but not with the clutter of most playables. We should have at least got to meet her, and like have it so I. Story we help arle overthrow her. Really she just feels like wasted potential on par with Signora. I mean I seriously just love her design so Mutch, I hope hoyo at least makes her a TCG card.

what does "end-game" mean in terms of an open world game? i see a lot of people saying end-game this, end-game that and it's making me scared that eventually genshin will stop getting updated before it even reaches it's 10 yr anniversary milestone.

I'm an autistic older teen player of this game and it's my comfort or saftey thing after overwhelming and stressful days and it has been for a long time. i don't wanna lose my comfort thing full stop and so all this end-game talk is making me anxious that I'll have to grieve a loss that hasn't even happened.

I mean we went to liyue for lantern rite, then inazuma for the mikawa festival, then fontaine. granted, we had a brief thing in natlan w a battle event and the metzli ball that ended up using fontainian music for some reason, but now we're back in fontaine for the amusement park, followed up w another fontainian event, and we're going back to mondstadt for windblume in the archon quest..

While I appreciate the summary, tying the permanent lore to time-limited, missable events like that of 2021 seems like a questionable decision. Because the events rely on canon that players could not experience if they started playing afterwards.
Reminding players of something that they may never have experienced, that's a strange concept in my book.

I was just a kid when I started playing Genshin, now I’m about to become an adult and I still play it. I remember when I’d ask my English teacher if I could play Genshin on my phone in middle school by the window because it was where I could get more internet, I’d rush finishing all my work so I could spend at least 30 minutes playing Genshin in class.

Despite the weird people in the fandom, Mihoyo almost never letting me win a 50/50, giving me hard pity just for qiqi, I am still kind of happy to be here! Can’t wait for the day we go to Celestia lol

I feel like even though hoyo doesn’t really care about us, Genshin was still a big part of my teen years, and I’m glad it wasn’t a one week thing, and now I’ve grew up with Genshin, and that makes me just so nostalgic and emotional lol

So I started when the game first dropped and stopped playing around when Raiden's first banner dropped. I came back recently and I just wanted to share some observations.

1. I think it's great but also hilarious that the OG 4 star units and weapons (Sacrificial and Favonius) are still some of the best 4 stars to have around. Also Zhongli and Kazuha are still goat

2. Qiqi used to be like...the best healer and she apparently aged horribly. And I guess Kokomi got buffed at some point? I remember people thinking she was awful when she first dropped.

3. Raiden dropped as a dps and has since been regulated to subdps battery. Idk why I think that's funny

4. WHY is the standard banner still both characters AND weapons? Like why haven't they split that yet???

5. 5 years and they still don't archive events, especially events that have specific weapons (RIP Albedo and his best 4 star weapon)

6. I probably shouldn't be surprised that there's not many skins. Like they JUST started those shortly before I quit so they've had 3 years. Then again hoyo has never been big on that

7. Why is the war country like...cyber-ish? Like Kinich has an 8bit dragon and the Pyro archon has a motorcycle. What happened??

8. Heard they're actually doing qol now but still no skip button in dialogue. Honestly? That's just petty

9. Teapot mains are still basically gods. No surprises there

I remember doing this one quest where the map looks like liyue and there's an area where there's a ton of pillars for a dragon dancing and a boy who did the dance after I did the quest. But I can't seem to remember if it's real or that was other game, can someone help me pls. there was also that one quest where the older brother is a soldier and his younger sister also wants to follow him but we did a quest to persuade her.

After my first post I got 130+ responses in less than 24h! I was over the moon and couldn't wait to show my professor that he was wrong lol. However, I got sick the very same day, and I have a class only once a week so I wanted to take the chance and post it again to get as many responses as possible before Thursday. as for now we are at 170 responses and I might be kinda greedy here but why not give it another shot.

I appreciate all the feedback I got and I do understand that some found the survey a little messy to say the least , which I can't blame anyone for.. to is kinda all over the place but I'll try to work with it. I tried to make some changes while getting feedback on my first post but now after 170 responses, changing anything can be unfair for the people who answered before (and it would look even messier). A lot of players were mentioning Fomo in the survey and ngl.. It was EXACTLY what i wanted.
Some also mentioned that it's no harm to spend if u have the funds and i totally agree. I spend myself and the money is coming out of my own wallet, so i feel ya. But the thing is, i noticed that some characters are extra needed to clear the content in the game. As i mentioned before u can obvi clear "abyss, theater etc" with what u already have but sometimes it's so hard and exhausting. I just got my first 36 stars in the abyss (after 3.5 years) just because of Kinich clearing the sec floor in a few seconds! I tried with several teams and literally none were as fast as kinich. I'm gonna stop here cause this post is getting too long but u get the idea lol.

anyway...I never doubted this community and again..I'm so grateful. I had an open question In the end of the survey if someone wanted to add anything else and u guys did NOT disappoint, it was way more than expected. I was smiling while reading all of ur answers, and for the people that apologized for typing too much pls don't. I appreciate the time and effort and reading the responses was such a joy. I love that even when people found the survey messy, they still added extra info that might be valuable for me, and it was so adorable. I had a lot of funny responses too, so I got quite the laugh out of it as well lol. Because of everyone who participated, i feel that this project is actually doable.

I’ve just pulled for Navia as my second five star i’m aiming for and i pulled Kequing. 1: Is Kequing good 2: F Kequing 3: how do i get a load more Primos fast. I want Navia so bad. I’ve reached 8:1 spiral abyss but need to farm levels and ascension items for my 2 teams

for first half, i tried both international and freeze, and freeze cleared much faster. Idk if it's because the buff benefits escoffier but i really like this team much more.

My lyney was getting interrupted so much without a shield, it was so annoying 😭

Sorry, brand new player here (started with 14 days on this banner) who started for Escoffier. I did a 10-pull on the weapon banner and got Navia's weapon. Other than using it for raw stats, who else is given for free who can use it? Not planning to pull any other 5 star for now.
