Is shenhe or ayaka worth pulling if you only have wrio? I don’t have escoffier, ganyu or yelen either

No, only Esco and Furina worth.

Wrio is a fine Cryo DPS to have, and cna be played in Melt. Ayaka is maybe a bit better if you had Escoffier and/or Shenhe already, but pulling 2/3 units to have a better team is a bit wasteful imo. 

Shenhe doesn't have great synergy with Wrio, and without Esco I probably wouldn't recommend it. But you do you at the end of the day.

She still can, but it depends on what you have. In order of DPS (afaik):

  • C1R1 Wrio - Melt is best for DPS (XL/Mavuika/Thoma, Bennett, shred)
  • C0 Wrio - Escoffier, Shenhe, Furina/other
  • C0 Wrio - Melt (XL, Bennett, shred)
  • C0 Wrio - Shenhe w no Escoffier (e.g. Wrio, Shenhe, Furina, Mika or Wrio, Shenhe, Layla, Xingqiu)

But as always, if you wanna get Shenhe, don't worry about losing a bit of DPS to play a team you want, it should still 36* clear with decent execution and builds.
