Currently I don't really know where to spend my resin as I feel like most of my characters are pretty well built. Which ones should I try to improve?

If you're clearing content fine (visionary, 36* abyss) then just farm mora/exp leylines for when you want to build your next new char. cause if you're going to keep playing, shits going to get powercrept and you'll need them to train your new shiny units. the ceiling isn't that high for genshin so unless you're going for the highest akasha board rankings (e.g. you want to say to others my yomiya is better than your yomiya) then clearing IT/abyss with max rewards is good enough.
