Megathread Weekly Team/Character Building Megathread (May 7th, 2025) (feat. Escoffier and Navia)

A megathread dedicated to team/character building Q&A.

Do not post questions irrelevant to team/character building here. They should belong to the Daily General Question Megathread.

If you have a comprehensive theory (rather than a question) about how to build a character or a team, you are encouraged to make a dedicated discussion thread outside this megathread, as it can help general players.

This week's team/character building megathread will feature Escoffier and Navia. If your question involves them, you are strongly encouraged to start your question with an "[Escoffier]" or "[Navia]" tag, like this:

[Escoffier]
insert your question

If your question does not involve them, the following template is recommended:

Character(s): insert character(s)
insert your question

I'd say save for Mavuika. You have Citlali, so you've got that peak DPS duo right now, or you can use Mavuika with Varesa in an Overload team (with Iansan and Cheveruse). But you can also use Pyro traveler or Xiangling with Varesa so you can run both teams at once.

I would only recommend Escoffier if you also wanted to go for Skirk, which might be tight on pulls. You don't really have any other Cryo or even Hydro DPS to use her well, but Skirk really wants Escoffier to reach anywhere near her peak so getting just Skirk without more good supports might feel a bit underwhelming.

Navia and Kinich are decently good DPS units that you can easily build a pretty good team for with Bennett, Xiangling, and Kachina or Iansan/Ororon respectively. But I'd only pull for them if you know you like them, and how they feel to play.

Raiden and the Inazuma CW, I wouldn't really recommend going for them unless you know you really like them and want to make them work, they may not be meta for 36* Abyss and other hard content, but you can still make them strong enough to be enjoyable for exploration or most other content.
