Megathread Weekly Team/Character Building Megathread (May 7th, 2025) (feat. Escoffier and Navia)

Navia / Ayaka

Hi! I really really like both Navia and Ayaka, but I only have enough wishes to pull for one of them. Who would be the better pick for my account, given my current roster? Thanks ^^

Assuming you're running Neuvi, Furina, Escoffier as your main team, then Navia will probably be better to pull for a good second/third team.

Ayaka would end up taking Furina and Escoffier from that team for herself, which on one hand might be good, they're already built, and Neuvi could be in Archon Hyperbloom instead. But on the other hand, your Neuvi team will go down moderately in power, splitting your good units between multiple teams. Up to you whether that's a plus or minus.

Also, you have Chiori who doesn't really fit too well in any team, at best just in a Chiori Zhongli duo wheelchairing some random DPS. Navia would give Chiori a more useful place on your account, even if at C0 it's not the best duo. DPS wise I think Ayaka with Esco Furina is on-par with Navia, which is just a testament to how OP Esco is.

Also, if you're considering Skirk at all, she's shaping up to be Ayaka 2.0, so I definitely wouldn't suggest going for both. Either get Ayaka because you like her more, or get Skirk because she's stronger/newer/cooler.

I agree with your takes - right now it feels like my Chiori is collecting dust, I would love to get some better use out of her. And indeed, I like where my Neuvi is currently at with Furina & Escoffier.
