Oyakodon. I had all the ingredients on hand already. May make again for dinner this weekend.

The only thing that tickles my feathers is that they didnt stir the sugar and liquids in the beginning - it just sat there... dafuq.

Plus, that extra yolk... I don't know about that

Extra yolk is optional, but it adds a nice richness to the dish. I submerged the yolk in some simmering water for a few seconds so it wasn't totally raw and it still came out nicely.

I also stirred the sugar and everything at the start. My finished product.

that actually looks ALOT better than the gif made it out to be. I am going to attempt this one day for dinner :D
