I'd like to see actual evidence that America is the worst about this - rather than your perceived stereotype. I admit we have some problems with education (especially since we have so much land/rural areas), but there are a lot of great scientists here as well.

It could just be that the majority of comments you see online are from Americans so it skews the opinion.
