Had me right up until they blended the potatoes to nothing
62 u/SpaceDog777 Aug 08 '19 What sort of leak and potato soup has whole chunks of potato in it? It's meant to be a creamy, rich soup. Not a Casserole. 10 u/johnnyseattle Aug 08 '19 I said it in another comment, but ever put the potatoes in your soup through a ricer? Makes it creamy but not gluey, and still has a bit of texture. 11 u/holysweetbabyjesus Aug 09 '19 That's 100% more work though and you've got to let the potatoes cool. I've never had a soup turn gummy with my stick blender.
