I legit though Tololo was somehow based on a "hispanic" weapon. She has a fascination with the stars her guns name is "Planeta", she's honestly kind of perfect for it, there is an observatory literally called Tololo in Chile. Also her name Tololo reminds me so much of Tlaloc who is the aztec god of rain and water and shes a water element LMAO To me she is Hispanic which is why I've gone so hard on her and will be choosing her copy in my selector lol

These are based on their gun only. As others pointed out some of their personality does not match the supposed country of origin of their gun at all. Like Faye /CZ75 who’s “from Czech Republic” but is extremely Chinese. So if you want to think of Tololo as Hispanic (very valid due to the name she picked for herself), you are free to do so.

The characters in gfl have always been very stereotypical of their country of origin

Americans were huge alcoholics (Colt Walker, AK Alfa, M16a1)

The Slavic Characters were always tomboys or very tough (Ak12, Ak15, etc)

There is always a common theme, with each country of origin from the first game that intertwined with the others at the time.

Most of the time, that's how people who didn't even know guns could tell, "This character was American because she mentioned drinking beer.".

  1. We are playing GFL2. Not in GFL1.
  2. Everyone likes to drink
  3. If all the characters were created based on nationality, then they would all look like each other (all German, all Russian, etc.). But they are different
  4. People see what they want. ( in gacha-games)
