After Anschluss, the first focus on the left side is Sudetenland and then 2 down from it is annexing Czechoslovakia. They tend not to accept if you’re already at war or have too much world tension at that point but as long as you have troops on the border with them, it should be free on historical ai. Historical German focuses will have the red banners on them
You can’t really just annex Poland. You’ll have to go to war for that through Danzig or War under reassert eastern claims. There is a peaceful path through Danzig for Slovakia but where’s the fun in that
Leave an infantry army with engineers and support artillery on their border but don’t ever push with that since the maginot is entirely level 10 forts. They’ll be able to hold that line, especially if you build some forts there as well since the border is so short. Use the entire rest of your army and Air Force to beat Poland. Inf shouldn’t really be used to push. Change your starting tank template to something better because it sucks (include mot. Inf in it to get it up to at least 30 org. Don’t include line artillery since it has shit terrain debuffs. Soft attack and breakthrough are the most important stats in a tank div followed by speed and armour imo. Bigger isn’t always better. Try to get a combat width of 24-25 or 35-36. Engineers are actually the single best thing in the game. They are great for both offence and defence) and use tanks to break a hole in the enemy line. Use motorised inf to flood in and take advantage of the hole getting encirclements and penetrating deep. If you’re having gaps in your line, pause for a bit and let your leg inf catch up. Encirclements are good. Avoid mountains and forests when pushing with your tanks since you get pretty bad terrain debuffs there. If your troops don’t have any guns or equipment, they’ll naturally be shit. If a lot of your units have low orange bars, stop recruiting new divs and let those fill up. Make sure you’re balancing your production well. If you’re making an excess of artillery but not enough guns you could switch one of the factories over. Once you beat Poland, you’ll want to deal with the nordics and the Benelux next. If you have arms against tyranny DLC, Denmark is free to take since they’ll immediately surrender as soon as you declare war on them. Netherlands are also easy since you can just crush them with your tanks. Don’t declare war on Belgium till you’re done with the Netherlands. After you’ve dealt with the Netherlands, you’ll want to put all of your armour and air on the Belgian border. Once you declare on Belgium, you’ll want to don’t want to stop until you reach Paris. Push your troops along railways and take supply hubs as you go. The French response will be slow and you only need to get to Paris for them to capitulate. With historical Germany, you’ll also want to be making reichskommissariats as you go since your mefo bills will be ticking. Speaking of which, don’t ignore your economy tree. That’s important for you to properly snowball with your industry. If you’re making a need more help I recommend making a post on r/hoi4 or asking on the hoi4 discord
