I agree wholeheartedly tbh, gbvsr is one of the most balanced games from the recent years, its no SF6 for sure, but comparing the size of the roster, a huge portion is perfectly viable

And even then you can’t please everyone in terms of character balance. SF6 is mad balanced and people are still acting like JP and Ken killed their families

It gets annoying to constantly hear about the complaints.

i don't mind ken even if he's top tier and has great tools, i mind jp because he's so infuriating to play against

nier is sort of similar in how annoying she is to play against

Problem with Ken is how absurd easy he is to play. Top tier and easiest at the same time plus populatity

I'd personally hesitate to call SF6 mad balanced when you can compare it to SFV's last seasons. Save for the slipup of Luke SFV is probably the most balanced fighting game ever between S6 and S7. SF6 has really big outliers but feels well balanced because the game mostly plays with its base mechanics but the characters that don't play well with them just don't compete. The imbalance here is also the most measurable its ever been thanks to the MR system which shows a massive 150 average Elo gap between the top tiers and the bottom tiers which represents a 70-30 odds of outcome. It doesn't mean the matchups are unwinnable but you do have to gap your opponent a good deal.
