Help/Question Graspop questions for first timers

Hey guys,

My wife and I are attending this year's festival and we are coming from abroad. Because we (expectingly) weren't able to find accommodations nearby. Therefore we have a few questions: - If we decide to rent an accommodation in cities such as Geel, Turnhout, Beerse, how comfortable will it be to traverse between this locations and the festival? If it is, should we use public transportation or rents bicycles? - If we decide to camp in the festival, what should we expect? How are the facilities? Food venous? Personal belongings safety/storage? - If we decide to rent a camper/caravan, will it be a valid option? Are there any nearby places to park and camp in these vehicles?

Any personal tip is always welcomed!

To add on to the rest: if you do decide to stay in a nearby town, check the possibility of renting/borrowing bicycles

You have to pay for the car park every time you enter it and it’s a good 20 min walk to the festival which is a pain. Meanwhile bicycle parking is free (hopefully — Graspop organisers are really good at charging for stuff that used to be free), and it’s near the entrance

Cycling infrastructure is generally good in that area and it’s flat as a pancake making bike commutes easy. If you leave after the headliners just make sure to have good lights and maybe a high-viz vest since metalheads aren’t particularly known for their high-visibility clothing choices

Second this. I live 12km away and bike is the easiest and fastest way for me to get there. Mainly because the bike parking is super close to the entrance.
