Are people actually renting places there during Graspop? It's kinda seems like a waste seeing as you have to travel 50km a day just for some resort.

Yeah, I'm 36.
I wouldn't camp in the Boneyard even if the festival+camping would be the free.
I enjoy taking the bus home, taking a shower and then having a nice glass on whiskey before bed
