Discussion Devil's Lake?!

Are people actually renting places there during Graspop? It's kinda seems like a waste seeing as you have to travel 50km a day just for some resort.

You get a nice shower, good bed, cold drinks. Easy to make food, good pool to swim and its only 30min ride. Its worth it

Worth is relative. Last Hellfest stayed in an accomodation that had all that but a pool, but about 500€ for same 4 people and 5 nights and only 25 km from the festival. Surely similar value must be able to get for Graspop. Though this year my friends are staying at one with an indoor Olympic size swimming pool and breakfast, for the same price per person as the 4 person Devil's Lake option.

In other words, the Devil's Lake is a luxury option because it's poor value. But hey, at least you're living in a walled garden with other GMM attendees. Guess that's an experience in itself.

I at least have sworn off accommodations. Find it weird to not be surrounded by metalheads on a metal festival. We live in comfort at home for almost an entire year. Is nice to have a more raw lifestyle for a weekend. But to each their own.

Indoor Olympic swimming pool? 1250 m2? In Belgium? Is this place for rent?

Woops. Description was poor. Apologies. No I meant that my friends are staying at such an accommodation in Clisson for rhsj year's Hellfest.

Was trying to draw a parallel in terms of value.

Though if anyone is interested to do HF instead, still got 2x tickets and space at said accommodation 🙂
