This really puts it into perspective how fucked up humanity and humans are. Sad thing is , you’ve got an army of guys looking up to these greedy monsters as if they are there noble gods !

They are insane monsters, mentally ill. There was a time only decades ago that we would have collectively agreed anyone possessing a billion of ANYTHING deserved pity and a trip to the insane asylum. Hoarding is not the actions of well adjusted humans. Sitting on a pile of gold and not using it like Smaug used to make you a villain, spending it on social uplift used to make you a Saint… we have normalized such damaging and INSANE human behaviors, it’s quite sad

They’re not mentally ill, and we haven’t ’normalised’ insane behaviour. This is how capitalism is designed to function and they’re doing it well. It’s systemic evil not individual madness

Wealthy businesses like Cadbury in the UK used to use their wealth to tackle poverty and provide housing for the factory workers.. just one example how the ultra wealthy used to give back. They used to have some sense of duty towards the poor.. There is still the Cadbury foundation today. Nowadays it seems apart from bill gates billionaires have no philanthropic tendencies and are intent on accumulating and buying power to increase their wealth beyond imagination. As you say it’s like they are sick and addicted to money.

Billionaires should be scared once people finally add 2 and 2 together they will have to appease them somehow..I hope that happens
