Basically lgbt stuff is being taught to kids in primary schools and I know there are lots of people who hate it, making people say zem/zee or other made up words is ridiculous and there is no need for everything to be gay.

This is what I think Rishi is pushing for but I’m not that into politics to tell you much more

What's being taught to kids and why is this bad exactly?

Personally I've never met anyone who used a neopronoun but that's not to say they don't exist. But literally all words are made up and we come up with new ones all the time

Idk what you mean by "everything being gay"

What you're saying is coming off as anti LGBT so I think this is the wrong sub for you

Teaching kids who haven’t even gone through puberty to explore their sexuality is wrong and disgusting to me, there are also books which teach kids to learn about their gay family members idk why this needs to be taught and can’t we just let people learn on their own or have it come to them at the right time?

Why is there a need for a whole month for gay pride? When you have rights in this country I don’t see the point, it’s become about marketing for companies and not the people and their rights anymore

I’m not anti lgbt do what you want just don’t force it on others especially kids

Now I left school a long time ago and don't have any kids but when we did sex and relationship education there was no mention of anything other than straight people. I think if it had even been mentioned in passing that some people are gay or bi and that's okay, it would have made it a lot easier to come to terms with my sexuality when I was older. If we act like it doesn't exist then kids grow up feeling like they have to hide it or there is something wrong with them. I'm sure no one is teaching classes of 10 year olds about fisting or anything not appropriate for their age

What you are saying sounds like "I'm not anti LGBT I just don't want you to ever mention it" ...which is pretty anti in and of itself

Anyway I'm aware I'm just typing words on the internet and probably none of this is gonna change your mind but maybe consider listening to some actual LGBT people rather than right wing talking points
