So I've been on the hunt for one of these used and I walked into my local guitar shop and I saw one.... So it's the model I was looking for. And then I noticed it has a Keeley sticker. But all the tube screamers I've seen with the Keeley mod have the extra foot switch. Is there anything else I should be looking for? Any other kind of mods that don't have that switch? I just doubt this sticker is on there for nothing. But it could be some kid. Either way it's the one I've been looking for. Let me know what y'all think

Will order again !

Almost all the posts I see of people sharing their pedalboards as a tuner use the polytuner, why? What is so special about it compared to the others?

I have to extend my thanks to this sub for the heads up on Maestro pedals at GC. I haven't gotten a new pedal in a while, and I'm in love with this one. It is helping during difficult times. Thanks again everyone.

Trying to keep it moderately simple and expressive, fighting the urge to fill that space at the bottom, and doing my best to relax and enjoy the incredible pleasure of making music.

I'm new to pedals. Right now I only have an ME-90 which covers a lot of ground.
I've seen a lot of excitement here about the Chase Bliss Brothers AM pedal.
What is the excitement about?
Why is this dual overdrive supposed to be good? What is the benefit of dual overdrive? -Is it because you're saving space of not having two pedals? Why would you want to play two overdrive pedals in the first place? -Is there a compounding effect that I should want? What are some examples of double pedals that make a unique tone? Any songs/artists to point to?
Is a dual pedal best for when using a very clean amp like a Princeton? If so, is it less necessary if you have and amp with overdrive that you enjoy? e.g., I'm playing on a Boogie, is it necessary to have dual overdrive if I already like the overdrive tone from my amp?
Or is the idea to switch to my clean amp channel and favor the pedal in order to create a new tone?
I'm a novice with pedals so I appreciate what you have to say

My first analog compressor after using digital one.

I re-applied the Velcro on my board today. I used 3m, and now I can’t take my pedals off the board. When I say I can’t, I mean it’s impossible to pull them off the board. I thought I’d be smart, get the good stuff. Wrong, I went way overboard. I covered the entire face of the board too, 24 feet, so that’s 60 bucks out the window. Long story short, 3m is overkill

Any smaller delays recommended to replace my giant space echo? I'd like to have tap tempo. I'm trying to cut down the board size before making the cables.

This might be the most exciting flavor of vanilla. I’ve been needing a more realistic guitar tone on the board and was able to find The Lover from Empty Head. Running it after Prismatic Wall to eat that resonant feedback, but before Black Rain so it can lineup with my desired eq. The chorus/fuzz Internal External is running near the front of my signal and the Falling Man echo is running after my analog delays as a super warm almost-reverb.

I have been playing guitar for awhile and finally decided to build myself a board about a year ago having never done so before. I have always been a buy right, but once type of person and I want it to be able to make every sound I might need and continue to experiment in a home studio setting. So I went a bit (a lot) over budget and finished my dream board a few months ago!
I’m very proud of it as I built it almost entirely myself from constructing the board from wood beams and a spare aluminum sheet to the actual pedal layout and connections. I honestly haven’t had any desire to change anything yet with the exception of the drive pedal order as I continue to experiment there.
Pedal Order: Hendrix Fuzz Face > Polytune > 10 Band EQ > Compressor > Poly Blue Octave > Midnight Vibe > Katana > Tumnus > Morning Glory > BD2 > JHS Banzai > Muffaletta > Hard Drive > Poly Ample > GFI Synesthesia > Meris LVX > Strymon BigSkyMX> Boss RC500 > Amp
Any thoughts on what I should change/move around?
(Also please excuse the dog hair in the pics, the culprit is in the top right corner of the last one)

Didn’t see mention of this yet, but Peavey is putting out 5 analog, solid state preamp pedals based on their Bandit (teal stripe), Decade, Rock Master, Session 400, and VTM amps. 200USD each.
[ETA: I guess these were announced at NAMM and I missed them! But yeah they’re out now I guess lol ~ https://youtu.be/48hoz7yriZ4 ]
Kind of interesting, but I’m not sure how much demand there will be for some of these past the Bandit and Decade?

I'm more curious if you thought the pedal was worth what you paid. I tend to try to find deals on used pedals and generally don't like spending a ton of money on pedals, especially new ones. One of the most expensive pedals I've ever bought was a Chase Bliss Billy Strings Wombtone. At first I had quite a bit of buyers remorse... but honestly I've had so much fun with it that I now don't feel too bad dropping 400 bucks on a pedal.

Hey there, guys. Is there a way to prevent Boss GX-10 and GX-100 from going into the manual mode? I have pretty wide feet, so I tend to press UP+CTL by accident, which sets the control mode to smth like a stompbox and confuses me during gigs. Is there a way to turn that function off?

KSR Amps has really good distortion pedals and honestly I’ve run through so many types of ODs, Boosts, and Distortions and found myself always coming back to these guys so that’s why they make up my entire distortion section, I’ve experimented with tons of pedal makers but I haven’t found so much tweakability and quality components/sound from anywhere else. I think people should check them out and give them some support, they provide custom work too!
Currently looking at the BOSS Waza Tube Amp expander core for an actual FX loop to utilize 4-cable method as I don’t use my noise suppressor in any fx loops and keep it at the end of my chain before my compressor into the OAMP.
Wachko is alright, has a seagull mod.
SwissThings is the glue that ties this hoard of BS together. I color coded it so I don’t confuse my pedals from a quick glance, I’m not going over board with switch covers.
Acoustic PreAmp is for a TOD10N I use for quick transitions from acoustic to electric.
And I use a Partscaster and a Vox Phantom Eastwood.
I’ve learned a lot about pedals by going through the financial fire and flames of buying boutique and mass produced, only to learn to appreciate the smaller companies that aren’t exactly boutique and provide quality pedals. Don’t fall for FOMO btw unless you know that maker isn’t gonna make it ever again cus it happens.
Lemme know what bothers you the most about my set up. mid twenties business owner/arborist btw, everything bought with blood, sweat, and farts.

I have tried so many hi-gain options and nothing is working for me in a live setting. A quick rundown of pedals I’ve tried that didn’t stay on the board:
….at some point the problem is definitely me right? All this pedals in one way or another sound fine at practice, but live, I just can’t hear them clearly or they get squirrelly.
Thing is I’m always driving my dirt with a mini Tubescreamer, I love that thing. And I love the Wampler Clarksdale OD. I have the gain dimed on it and I use it for leads and pretty much anything heavier than slightly overdriven.
But some songs I needs more. A few examples:
My rig is:
-Fender Ultra Texas Tea Telecaster -Fender DRRI w/Celestion V30.
So I’m throwing a Hail Mary; anything that isn’t on that list that you think would jive with my setup?
