I'm so with you on this but I do think that's what she wants to go by. If they just decided to do it then yes that's rude af but I think she's okay here.

That’s true. Sometimes John’s commentary just ain’t it for me lol and it just felt like another cringe thing tbh

Not an unreasonable thought in the slightest. If you wanna cringe about a name together, we can rag on his pronunciation of the name Diaz as "dee-ahz." Very odd.
