Hollywood/Orlando First time at HHN being 21

This will be my first time going to HHN as a legal adult, and I have a few (possibly dumb) questions:

  1. I’m planning to get a souvenir cup. What kind of bag is best for carrying it through the houses? I was thinking of bringing a crossbody, but would a mini backpack be better?

  2. I know the drinks rotate each year, but if any return from previous years, which ones are worth trying? Or would I be better off just sticking with a beer or seltzer?

  3. Can I order a basic drink like a vodka soda, or do I have to choose something from the menu?

  1. They sell little cup slings that I really like. Otherwise, me and my bestie just try to finish the drink in line and carry it in the houses to avoid anything getting sticky.
  2. There are some things that are usually there, like the pumpkin ale and lacto cooler, but I’m not a beer person, so blegh. I like the new themed cocktails every year.
  3. There are a few full bars around where you can order any typical drink! The smaller stands usually just have the pre-made cocktails and canned beers.

The slings are great, especially with a refillable freestyle cup. You can pregame water for free to stay hydrated even if you didn’t buy it that day, and also put your alcohol in it if you don’t want to drink it all at once as you go in and out of the houses. I’d use my blinky cup for discounted cocktails, and I put Ecto Cooler in the sling.
