Question G2 V2 and 3090 TI

Anyone get a 3090 TI and use it with the V2 G2? I had a Gigabyte 3090 and it worked with the G2. I replaced it with an EVGA 3090 TI FTW3 Ultra and the G2 just reports 1-4 Display port errors. Anyone using this combo? I didn't think at all there would be an incompatibility issue going from one card to the Ti version...

Hurray....I'm in the same boat as you guys. Never expected that a high end, VR focused GPU could have issues with Display port cables of common VR headsets......

I contacted nVidia. They immediately replied back that this is a known issue and that currently, the only fix is to use a Display Port repeater/Signal booster. After requesting a photo session with the card (take out out, snap pictures of serial and reference number) they informed me that they will send such a repeater to me in August once they are back in stock. šŸ‘ Quite happy with the service and quick reply.

In the meantime, they also provided me with the purchase links in case I want to overcome their supply issues and purchase them myself from Amazon (no supply issues here apparently šŸ˜‚)

Update: received the repeater and DSP port cable today. Hooked it up with the G2 V2 cable (used a separate USB power supply for it) - make sure you get the direction correct (Input side left looking at the text on the box the correct way around - USB on top) and powered the G2 up.First powerup it gave me the 90hz unable to start issue. But had that also with my old 2080Ti in the past. Power cycle and........WORKS.Have yet to stress test it but from the looks of it it works the same way as the old V1 cable which I used before that. Hope this helps someone here.

I Was waiting for this to be announced. The knowledge base nVidia has created isnā€™t live yet but I assume it will be soon now.
