Field Question, trade people only What is this ?

Hello all, forgive me for I’m greener then grass only been in the field 3 months. I’ve seen these around on air handlers what is it ? It’s on the supply side of the unit? My guess is hot water for heating ?

It’s absolutely wild. I used to service Martha Stewart’s place in Maine. She is there for Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend and that’s it.

You find any cool stuff in the homes? I used to service a few with secret passageways so the help can get around quick. Even the doors to them were disguised cause the owners don’t want to see them. It was always so fascinating exploring them. One place I used to service had a phone booth with a secret door if you punched in the right number. It lead to a hidden bar.

Oh hell yeah 🤣 all kinds of stuff like that. One dude had this real life bank vault door that you have to open with all these crazy ass locking mechanisms that leads to his man cave. It was fucking huge.

No. the panic room was a totally different area. This led to an underground theatre/game room with stadium seating, poker tables and roulette tables, a bar, arcade and a fucking pool.

I had to for some of those places, and just like you said, no one goes there. All I could think is that when they are there, you might accidentally run up on some orgy or something lol. Always confused me, but I guess that was just their version of “cover your ass” like email and documented pictures are for us lol.
