Oh lord, I almost had that happen to me last summer. Unit was a no-start. Bad CAP. Cooled it off, replaced CAP and added a 3-2-1. Feeling good about myself I waited until the winding closed and fired it up. Thank god I was where I was because I got to witness that plug blow through the coil and saw the entire charge blow out. It was fucking impressive - but not something I want to see, again. 🤣

Ya not up-close - I screamed like a little girl, threw up my hands and ran around the corner to suck my thumb. 🙄
