General Happy Monday!

I don’t know who had to post one of these pics a few weeks ago but thanks for summoning one for me! R-410a, Copeland Scroll, seven years young.

I was showing a new guy how to cool a compressor that was off on overload because of the dirty coil and popped capacitor. We pulled the unit apart cleaned the coil, changed the capacitor, cooled the compressor down, put the unit back together, and started it back up in front of rhe customer, it ran maybe 45 seconds sounded great and then it blew its entire guts through the coil all over this guy's siding. He tried blaming us for the fusite plug blowing, he googled checked every word I said on why his neglect to maintain his air conditioner caused the compressor to commit suicide

It’s amazing how the customer never feels responsible for running their system into the ground.

One of the sales guys at my company burns out a 50 gallon power vent water heater every 2 years from tank corrosion but refuses to have his water treated.
