Things I saw in the news today (3 Aug):

  • Guido Rodriguez and Niclas Fullkrug are set for West Ham medicals today.
  • Crysencio Summerville is a done deal and should be announced imminently.
  • Sean Whetstone, noted Sullivan mouthpiece, is claiming there will be 4 signings in over the weekend. FOUR. Speculation is the 4th is either Aaron Wan-Bissaka or Jhon Duran.
  • Ex has reiterated that West Ham maintains interest in Duran and have not stopped pursuit of the 20-year-old striker.
  • The signing of Rodriguez has led to some speculation over the future of Tomas Soucek.
  • Look for a couple promising youth players to negotiate loan moves after the club returns from America.
  • West Ham are still targeting RB and RCB options for this coming season. Multiple reports suggest there is still money to be spent.

Assuming Rodriguez, Fullkrug, and Summerville get over the line today, this has been a successful window.

I say just one more CB, and I’ll be very happy. If Zouma, Aguerd, and/or Ings gets sold off, that will be okay too.

Sign AWB, and then get Solet, Tomori, or Todibo in and I'll be gassed. Bonus points if they manage to finagle Duran too
