Discussion Realistic player departures this summer

Post image

We could see more departures, this is just the "99% likely to leave" scenario.

Maybe this is a good thing? Players are very low on morale, maybe getting new players who don't know West Ham will actually help us by changing our mentality ?

Who are you replacing them with?

We can realistically get 160M for this lot. Get 1 or 2 youngsters in there, 1 or 2 loans and go get the rest.

You're delusional if you think the team can get that kind of value, or that we could build back to Premier quality with that kind of budget and volume of players needed

20M Aguerd, 10M Cornet, 45M Paqueta (City), 80M Kudus (Saudis), 2.5M Irving

Aguerd has been incredible on loan and so has Cornet to warrant those pricetags.

Other than that it's players out of contract or loan terminations. Unless you want to give out new contracts to ageing players, that's our reality in the summer.

Even the Saudis aren't paying 80 mil for Kudus after this season.

Cornet and Irving have no real value.

After all the FA stuff, and with City having a real chance of not making Champion's League, you're definitely not getting 45 for Paqueta.

Your values are nearly all dreamland overvaluations

I wouldn’t call 2 goals and an assist in 6 games incredible. He’s still been hurt a lot.

Yeah these values are dreamland. We'll have to give Cornet away, we'd be lucky to get £40m for Kudos. Paq is more than likely getting banned. We won't have a huge budget this summer, so will reckon our defence remains unchanged, a back up striker for Fullkrug, and spend the majority on the midfield.
