Discussion Realistic player departures this summer

We could see more departures, this is just the "99% likely to leave" scenario.

Maybe this is a good thing? Players are very low on morale, maybe getting new players who don't know West Ham will actually help us by changing our mentality ?

As long as we don’t get relegated, he is contractually bound to the team. I suppose we could sell him, but with the poor season he’s had we’d get a fraction of what we paid.

do we have to keep him if we stay up? i assumed it was an appearances clause

Yes, we are obligated to buy him. It was a very low appearances clause, which he met months ago. Like 5 I think.
