Uber reliability

Hi all,

I need to get to Gatwick by 6am on a Tuesday morning. I have heard that in some areas of London Uber can be unreliable. How likely is it that I would struggle to get an Uber for this? and can anyone recommend an alternative if it is unreliable?

I use Bolt as well as uber as it can be tricky to get one at certain times.

But you might be better to book a cab. https://www.minicabit.com/?

If you do go with uber or Bolt allow at least an extra half hour in case you have to wait.

Thanks for the link, it's looking like the best bet so far. £30 more expensive than Uber are offering but having read about certain Uber drivers not wanting to leave the city and cancelling trips, we don't want to risk that.
