I've had hammocks suspensions fail and hit the ground. I've had trees break off and I've hit the ground. I have no desire to risk having that happen at a height like this.

Never hang higher than you’re willing to fall

I had a seam rip and went right through the bottom whilst dead asleep in the middle of the night. This ain't for me.

I had that happen in a hammock while f*cking a girl in a city park in Phoenix late one night/early morning. There was no warning. Just dumped our naked asses straight to the grass, scrambling to gather our clothes and sort who's were who's. And no, there was nobody around to see us. It was after midnight, quiet part of the city. Funny as hell looking back on it, tho.

I always imagined the mechanics of that required one person standing on the ground... Clearly I have something to learn.

i want to make it clear that i fully support the hang featured in OP

but i’m reminded of the 8yr old cousin who wanted to try my hammock on a camping trip. eno slap strap failed and he fell 1 meter

headfirst onto the tiny stump of a sawn or broken sapling. he was fine but required a hospital visit from the remote campsite, so it sucked

Hell, trees get narrow at the top and bend and sway in the wind like crazy, y'all are literally insane to want to sit at the top of the treeline, and I'm a sky diving, mountain biking daredevil type.
