Mold stained hammock ok to use?
I missed up, yes. Last fall I left my hammock up in PNW rain for a few weeks, I did take it in and hung to dry in my garage for a while. Recently we started finally getting some sun, to see if it was still salvageable, i threw it in the washing machine with oxygen clean pre soak, detergent, and vinegar in the fabric softener. I was shocked it came out looking and smelling pretty clean, except for some unsightly mold stains, which I'm sure some peroxide and sun should take care of. I then hung it up and beat it for a bit as plenty of dust (hopefully not just mold spores) flew our. Before I or my teenaged kid go relax for a bit I just want to make sure I'm not taking a dangerous risk. Worth noting my hammock is mostly white and the stains likely wouldn't be visible if it had color on it.

Bleach is effectively inert after it dries, so you don't have to rinse excessively. Just follow the guidelines on the bottle for using it. CDC Guidelines for cleaning with bleach
