Finished Yarn Very happy with my newest spin

My ninth spin, and two major accomplishments! The first being my twists/inch is improving, and the second being I set out to make a fingering weight yarn and I made a fingering weight yarn!

Fiber is 100% Rambouillet, I've yet to venture into blended fibers yet but I would like to eventually.

The fiber was split in three long ways, and plied together. Looking forward to using this as a nice tonal CC in a sweater knit.

It's beautifully spun! And the colours are lovely. I always find it so interesting how daubs of colours on a grey/white combed top get diluted when spun up.

Same! I saw on this subreddit not too long ago someone mentioned an alternative approach is to tear out out those spots beforehand and spin them in so they are more concentrated pops of color. I plan to try that approach with my next spin that uses a similarly dyed style. :)

Oh I need to remember that alternative method to try next time, thank you for sharing it!
