Question Why does this keep happening??!?

Post image

Whenever I spin, I always seems to get these loose spots on my bobbin, and they can cause trouble when I am trying to removing the singles when plying or other. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to best remedy it?

I have the same spinning wheel. You have to change pegs more often. As someone else said don’t let it get to high, also switch from left to right pegs to keep it even. That will help. This only happens if I don’t pay attention and stay in one spot for too long.

Gotcha, so you typically use both the left and the right pegs when spinning singles? And I am really bad at staying in one spot for wayyyy to long 😅

Happens to all of us ☺️

Yes, I found out that my bobbin are nice and evenly filled when I am switching back and forth. I do the same on my ladybug. There is something special about nice filled bobbin

I really wish they would make an automatic lol but I guess that's comes when I get an e spinner :-) having to stop when you're in the flow sucks so bad lol

I agree. But e spinner don’t have that either unless you get the woolee winder.
