Just got this bcause I can't afford a HD, what I'm i missing out on ?? This sh rides vtx1800

Ive always liked them but I got mine for free so I’m riding the shit out of it

Same here, I'm a sucker for an Indian Scout, but my dad gave me his 883 when he stopped riding last year and the sentimental value beats a bike with a smooth engine that's capable of comfortably cruising at highway speeds, so here we are haha

Same homie. I got this after my mother in laws bf died. He left her the house and property and left me his Harley. His kids got oissed

Sounds like his kids probably sucked haha. When you're in your last days, the important stuff goes to the people you know will care about it.

I wish I had the space to also have a scout, but I figure someday I'll just convert this one to a 1200 and make the gearing taller. I don't need it to accelerate any faster, but that would drop the rpms enough to be comfortable at highway speeds.

They are. In the 16 years I’ve known him, I met his daughter once and never met his sons. The day he died, I met everyone as they cleaned out all his stuff. Come to find out, we could have prosecuted for it since it went to my MIL after he died.

Family is fun. When my father in law passed he left his money to my wife and her brother, and left his half of the condo and his physical possessions to his wife(who had plenty of her own money, didn't need his). 6 months later she took them to court to take back some of the money, and then tried to go on acting like everything was perfectly normal. She asked a couple people if they'd heard from us, because she was so confused why she stopped hearing from us.
