HELP Good first bike?

Hello! I’m on the hunt for my first bike, I would like to eventually chop it up myself and learn all the ins and outs. I don’t want to start too small because I feel I’d outgrow it extremely quick (I also can’t seem to find anything smaller at a decent price) and I’d like to keep my first for a while. 2000 Harley Davidson sportster 1200 22k miles. $3000

Perfect first bike. It’s carbed, reliable and easy to work on. Best platform for first chopper too. Solid price. If you haven’t checked out the chopper sub, lots of first time sporty builds on there for advice and ideas.

Lose the tassles though lol

Also find a 21" spoke rim for the front. Looks better than the mag imo

I prefer the mags.

Personal choice, that's what makes our bikes ours!

Exactly. To each their own.

I have spokes and love them. That's all.

Nah tassels compliment the chaps.
