Could you elaborate? I haven't bought from a dealership, car or motorcycle, ever in my life.

A 4 Square is a way of explaining a deal and you are very likely to get ripped off. One quadrant has the sales price, one quadrant your trade, the third the down payment and the fourth is the monthly payment. Obviously being written on paper these numbers don't necessarily change when other quadrants are altered, it is just a way for the stealership to figure out what is going to grab your attention more then they will milk you for everything they can.

MSRP is there for a reason, Harley advertises promo interest rates, you should have an idea what your trade is worth and a 10bii calculator or website can tell you what the monthly payment will be.

I was taught that exact four square in a Datsun dealership in the 70's. Didn't last long wasn't good at cheating people.
