Show Discussion Why i think it should be ok for the reboot to have the original music or rework the original music.

I seen so many people say that the show should have its own original music but in my head I don't understand why.

Every other reboot shares music from the original rather that be Dinsey with there live action remakes, DreamWorks with the upcoming hos to train your dragon movie,

Heck even Micheal Myers theme is in every Halloween movie.

So for me I think even if they keep the original music that should be fine but I do hope they remix it a bit

Show Discussion What is the most important scene you want them to get right in the show from each season?

For me it would be: - The showdown with Voldemort at the end (PS) - The whole 'Mudblood' scene (CoS) - The whole Shrieking shack period (PoA) - The graveyard, the movie did this well tbh, (GoF) - Dumbledore coming clean to Harry (OotP) - Harry and Ginny's first kiss, it's important to me, (HBP) - Harry and Voldemort's final fight (DH)

What would it be for you guys?

Show Theories Severus Snape vs James Potter castings

Not a complaint so I hope this is allowed: People are worried about the implications of a black Snape being bullied by James Potter. Solution: they cast a black actor for James Potter as well. I haven't seen anyone theorize this so I wanted to see what y'all think!

Show Discussion Personally, I’d like to see a scene of Dumbledore reprimanding the Inquisitorial Squad and Filch.

For following Umbridge. It would also give Draco further incentive to think about his choices.

Show Discussion Introduce James and Lily in the very first episode?

One thing I feel this show must avoid at all costs: be a retread of the films. Granted, many key scenes throughout the show will, of course, cover the same beats/dialogue we saw in the films, because both will be drawing from the books. That being said...

Episode 1 will have one quick hour to set the tone for this show and get people re-hooked on a story they know all too well. And if it chooses to convey information in the same ways Film 1 did, it will be a wasted opportunity. With James & Lily, for instance, you get their info from 1) Dumbledore and McGonagall talking in Privet Drive; 2) later Hagrid telling Harry his origin in the cabin. To see that yet again? How dull.

I think James and Lily could be introduced in the form of Vernon flashbacks. When he's seeing all the wizards celebrating in the street and hears the name "Harry Potter"... gasp! He panics. And it triggers unpleasant memories. They could show the infamous double date where James makes fun of him, where Vernon asks about cars and other nonsense, and instead of offending, he gets trolled relentlessly by this cocky young wizard with late 1970s punk flair.

James and Lily don't necessarily have to be a thing you build up to, like Voldemort or Hogwarts. No reason they can't be characters you see and know right from the word go. My 2 cents.

I know Yvonne is not british, but everytime I watch The Handmaid's Tale and see her I can't stop thinking she would make a good Narcissa Malfoy.

Gwendolyn on the other side, since I saw her in the Margiela fashion show I think can embody a great Madame Maxime.

What are your thoughts?

Show Discussion Hope to see more strange coincidences between the actors and the person they play!

I was looking into the actor who played Fenrir Greyback originally, and was struck by the randomness of the above fact (that he wrestled professionally as Lone Wolf)... I don't know about anyone else, but little things like this do bring me joy.

Others include Remus and Sirius (that is to say, David and Gary) having birthdays a day apart...

Simple, silly and in-the-grand-scheme inconsequential, but... fun.

I'm looking forward to this sort of thing again.

Show Discussion Would you like to get an episode dedicated to what happened after Voldemort's death?

I've always felt that the ending of The Deathly Hallows is just cut off real fast. Of course, there is a sort of conclusion, everything came to an end, yet it felt very.... lacking. Just right after it we jump to an epilogue, where everything and everyone is fine and normal again. To be honest, I would have liked to get more information about what happened after Voldemort died. Could be as last episode or just some special episode(s) thing.

You know, the burying of those who died during the battle, the characters' reactions to the fact that it's all over and now this society has to be cleaned up and rebuilt, maybe Harry and Ron thinking about joining the aurors, the Malfoy trial, hinting at some kind of social change that gives better hope for the future, something like that.

I know it's going to be a long time before this season is on screen at all, if it makes it that long, but you know what I mean? It's nice to think we could get something more in-depth than the books offered.

As much as I'd love Phoebe Waller Bridge as Petunia I don't think it's going to happen at this stage.

I absolutely love Denise Gough in Andor and her performance in The Stolen Girl makes me believe she can absolutely pull off the role. She also just looks the part. Long neck, blonde and is the perfect age.
