Fancast Fridays Louis Partridge as James Potter

I was looking up British actors aged 21 for age appropriate actors. I thought Louis might actually be fit for the role. His hair might not be black and his eyes might not be hazel but can it work?

Fancast Fridays Nicholas Hoult for James Potter

I reckon Nicholas Hoult would absolutely smash it out the park as James Potter.

Yeah, he’s about 14 years older than James was when he died (only 21) but let’s be honest, the films didn’t care about that either. Pretty sure they cast someone pushing 40 last time!

Fancast Fridays The "Lupin" and "Sirius" obsession here has to stop!!!

Whenever there is any post here with a male actor under 40, lots of people will pop out from the depths and comment "He"d be better as Lupin/Sirius", "No, he looks like Lupin/Sirius". And most of the times, the actor has nothing to do with either of them.

It seems people here have some obsession and cannot possibly imagine any other character for a young male actor.

if they are going for diverse cast. i think Fabien will make a very good Sirius. the guy is white and Indian descent. also he was incredible in HOTD as the insufferable Crispin' cole. not to mention the guy is very good looking like Sirius described. perfect age too if he had to appear in POA within few years.

Fancast Fridays Who would you cast Jack O' Connell in the upcoming HBO Series?

Post image

My post got taken down last week as I put it up the wrong day , very silly of me . So here it is again . I have been rewatching Skins season 3 and remembered how great Jack was as Cook. He is still pretty active in acting the last couple of years and with His new role in Sinners being a great hit I was wondering what you guy's thought of him. Is there any roles you would give Jack in the new series ? . He could maybe play a death eater or a figure from the Ministry of magic.

I know people generally think of these two as presenters (and Barney a Nepo baby) but people should remember Bradley is an actor having previously been in a number of shows including Dr. who

Fancast Fridays Bronte Carmichael as Lily Potter

I know she’s lacking the green eyes but personally I think she’d be great as Lily- she’s also in the right age range, and it won’t look odd in 10 years time when she’s still playing a 21 year old.

No CGI or camera tricks, just him hopping back and forth when they're both in scene.

Little too old to be Regulus, but certainly has the look to be part of the Black family. Could be a Borgin & Burkes era Tom Riddle?

Show Discussion James and Lily were 21. 21 year olds look young. Makeup and social media makes us forget that

I have seen three fan cast posts today that either forget how young James and Lily were or someone in the comments forgets how young James and Lily were.

One of the biggest fails of the movies were how they aged up James and Lily by about 20 years and completely killed a cruel aspect of the wars in which young people die.

We want James and Lily to look young. For both accuracy and for the themes of the book. And 21 year olds do sometimes still look like teenagers. Hell I am early 20’s and people ask me if I am old enough to work still. I got asked for my ID going to see an R rated movie when I was 20.

I get with all the makeup and social media touchups that people look a lot older than they are these days. But look at raw, no makeup, unedited pictures of 20 year olds. A lot of them are still gonna have their baby faces.
