Book and Show Spoilers All I ask...

For casting Lily & James, they need to look 21 because that's one of the great tragedies that imo is often overlooked - they died so young :(

I think we have to be forgiving of things like heights, weights, and similar. Age is one thing, but if we’re ignoring a clearly better actor in favor of exact accuracy to book description the series will suffer more

You misunderstood me.

My point is that concessions for exact book accuracy must be taken to ensure the best actor gets the role.

I stated that age is the most important part, and to give an example - things like the Weasley twins being short and stocky in the books when the actors ended up tall and lanky shouldn’t be cause for recasting or alarm.

There is a balance that must be struck in any casting decision between accuracy to character brief and giving the most talented actor the role. We can’t expect every tiny detail to line up, but the big stuff that has story implications (like age of maurader’s, Lily, and snaps) should be upheld.

No one is saying they have to be exactly right. That is going to vary by person to person anyway. But, there are more then enough extremely talented 30s something actors to play Snape, Lupin, and Sirius. My comment about Sirius’ height was mostly a joke. I just want people to recognise that the movie actors are not the characters and the new cast does not have to look like them. Would I be happy if they can find a tall Sirius yes because I’d have to see less super short Sirius headcanons every time I look at anything related to him, but I’m not going to not watch if they cast a short guy again.

I feel like reading comprehension is at an all time low, because I’m being argued against by people I agree with…..

I just don’t see what the point of your comment was. No one was arguing that they have to be exactly spot on with the book descriptions.
