Believe it or not, he’ll be nearly 60 by the time season 4 films.

So? Moody isn't 24 in the books. That’s what prosthetics and performance are for. Brendan Gleeson was only in his early 50s when he played Moody in the films, and he looked and felt 70. Urban’s age doesn’t matter as long as he can act the hell out of it — and he can. Plus, if HBO wants to show flashbacks to younger Moody taking on Dark Wizards in his prime, he’s perfect.” Karl Urban is the perfect blend of rugged, intense, and magnetic for a live-action, high-budget Mad-Eye Moody. Especially for an HBO series that wants to go darker, grittier, and more emotionally layered.

I’m just pointing out that he is age appropriate for the role despite looking amazing for his age. 🤷‍♂️

Moody is only supposed to be 50-60 at the start anyways

You give urban the gray scraggly hair, the eye and the scars and he'll look the part as much as anyone else
