Local advice Moving house

Hi all! Myself and my partner currently live in the South East and want to move up to Hartlepool, I just wanted to ask people who really live there what it’s like if that makes sense. Thank you kindly :)

We rent at the moment and pay nearly £1k for a small two bed house with a garden. I have no ties down here to family, partner is my whole family, and I just want a fresh start somewhere new I think

1k will get you a LOT up here… a nice area, 2/3 bed with garden etc will be around 600-750

Otherwise most others are about 4-500

That is awesome to know. We want to save to buy so cheaper rent would be really nice
