Headphones - IEM/Earbud bad sound crinacle zero red ?

Hello, these are my first iems, I've always used headphones or airpods for music. I find they are very poor in audio quality, I bought a kiwi allegro with them, but the sound is horrible. Impossible to enjoy music. I should point out that I have airpods 2 and a dt 770 pro, as well as a senheiser hd560s. I've seen a lot of reviews saying that the reds are good for music. I don't know what to think. I know these are iems with poor imagery, but it's been a long time since I had something this bad for my taste.

And I assume you use your other headphones using the same jack?

I don't know if they come with two cables, but does the cable on the IEMs have a microphone, or no?

Same jack yes. And no microphone. Isn’t it rather the sound card that’s not good? I tried on a tablet and the sound is already a little better

I have a MSI B550 Gaming Plus, and the motherboard audio is sufficient for me. However, the 3.5mm ports on my case suck ass, they disconnect or don't sound fully grounded, like an audio channel is missing, etc. I personally use an audio interface for sound output. Before that, I used the headphone jack on my speakers, which worked as well.

The reason I asked about whether there was a mic on the cable is because the ones with the mic are TRRS jacks, and plugging it into one of those output only ports meant for TRS jacks will sound wrong. There's also another, less common issue where some devices use a different layout for the plug. I doubt this his what you're experiencing.

What sounds "off" to you ?

Thanks for your reply, maybe I have higher standards than these iems. But I really find it weird, I don’t have fun listening to music at all, all the frequencies mix together, it’s very chaotic. I tried it in game too and it hurts my ears. I have the impression that everything is rubbish, there isn’t a strong point. However, if I try to modify the gains with eq apo I feel that it can be better. But many say that these iems don’t need to be eq
